Peggy Peterson, 3114 70th St. said she originally started out in a very small group of Dennis Kucinich supporters. We had to make our own sign. It was kind of sad, she said. Peterson, who soon defected to the Clinton camp said her son got interested in this years campaign by watching "The Colbert Report" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on the Comedy Central network. What did he think of his first caucus? Kind of disorganized, he said, but he intends to caucus in 2012. .
NIU Gunman's Contradictions Baffle Police
MADISON, Wis. (CBS) ― Steven Kazmierczak had the look of a boyish graduate student - except for the disturbing tattoos that covered his arms. Professors and students knew him as a bright, helpful scholar, but his past included a stint in a mental health center. Many saw him as happy and stable, but he had developed a recent interest in guns and was involved in a troubled - possibly abusive - on-again, off-again relationship. What people initially told police about the Northern Illinois University shooter didn't add up, and now investigators are searching for answers to what triggered Thursday's bloody attack, in which five students were killed and several more injured before Kazmierczak committed suicide. While searching for a motive, authorities questioned family and friends and tried to determine whether he had recently broken up with his longtime girlfriend. One person who knew the couple, who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity, said the couple's relationship was on-again, off-again and "really rocky." Kazmierczak was controlling, she said."He was abusive, had a temper," she said.
Something besides contract negotiations
He gets a 2 year deal at a reasonable price, $2.5m and if he can prove he can stay healthy and focused for a couple seasons, then payday, here he comes. Good to hear about Enstrom, I was worried about him. He's starting to get knocked around too much. We need 2 pts in Buffablow tonight. Custance/Hossa for John Niyo/Filppula and a 1st (hey, Custance is a heck of a NHL beat guy, fellas, they owe us the 1st as well) .

I'm delighted that Dave Niehaus was named this year's recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award, because this is as close as I'll come to having a close relative enter the Hall of Fame. Like everyone in the Northwest, I consider Niehaus a member of the family. He's been in my parents' home so many nights, he should pay rent, and he rides with me in my car so often, I should be able to use the carpool lane. .
